The Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Southeast Regional Office, Atlanta, Georgia, is soliciting the services of a qualified medical entity located within a seventy-five (75) mile radius of FCC Coleman, Florida for the provision of comprehesive medical services. The services will be provided for inmates incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Complex, Low, Medium, Camp and future Penitentiary, located at 846 NE 54th Terrace, Coleman, Florida 33521. The hospital shall make available on a nondiscriminatory basis, inpatient and outpatient services, in a manner consistent with the medical needs of the patient and in accordance with medical standards for quality and cost effective patient care. The preferred payment methodology for these services (which will receive preference in both award and patient referrals) is the medicare reimbursement methodologies in effect at the time services are rendered. All services (usually outpatient) not covered by Medicare, shall be charges as low or lowerthan those charged to the hospital's most favored customer for comparable quantities under similar terms and conditions. All requests for solicitation packages or information must be in writing and include the RFP number (RFP 452-0012). No telephone requests are allowed. The estimated issue date for the (Request for Proposal) solicitations will be available on or about March 21, 2000, with an anticipated receipt of proposal date of April 17, 2000.
