disassembly, transport & installation of all existing furnishings from
165 N. Pico Ave, Long Beach California to their new locations at USCG
ISC San Pedro. The Contractor is responsible for relocating stored new
miscellaneous furnishings from Warehouse, Building 29 to Building 20
and installing miscellaneous new items. The contractor is responsible
for verifying the existing conditions of all stored items from Building
29 that will be relocated to Building 20. The contractor is to move all
furnishings per manufacture_s recommendations. The contractor is
responsible for any damage that may occur during relocation. Unpack
furnishings, dispose and remove packaging materials. The contractor
shall package and transport all artwork to Building 20 to be side
marked with its department identification. Contractor to clean rooms
and leave space in move-in condition for GROUP / MSO. The move must be
accomplished in phases. For planning purposes, this work will commence
sometime between 22 June 2000 and 30 September 2000. The actual date to
start the work will be provided by the government in writing a minimum
of 14 calendar days before the move. A maximum of 20 workdays
(Mon-Fri) has been allotted for completion of this contract.
Installation is to occur on straight time only, no overtime. Type of
furnishings include, but are not limited to, freestanding furniture,
full size refrigerators, safes, system furniture, whiteboards, TV
brackets, magazine racks (wall mounted) and bulletin boards. Due to

bcrane@pacnorwest.uccg.mil by 8 March 2000 and the bidder_s offers
received in this office on or before 17 March. Due to the complex
nature of the specification it is highly recommended that a site visit
