Project work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all plant, labor, material, and equipment necessary to place stone protection in the Red River of the North. The North Dam will be converted from a concrete weir to a rock rapids. The existing dam will stay in place. The work is anticipated to involve operation of equipment in the river. This procurement is a competitive, set aside small business with SIC Code 1629. (For informational purposes only, the small business size standard is $17 Million). Estimated magnitude of construction in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Plans and specifications are expected to be available approximately May 01, 2000 with bid opening occurring on or about June 07, 2000.
