Furnish all parts, labor, materials and equipment necessary for the replacement of existing cast iron water mains and services with plastic mains and services. The project involves the installation of approximately 700 feet of 10 inch PVC; 3,550 feet of 8 inch PVC; and 375 feet of 6 inch PVC plastic main at various locations at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. Also included in this project, is the replacement of nine (9) each isolated flight line fire hydrants. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $250,000 to $500,000. The estimated performance period for this project is 180 calendar days from the date the notice to proceed is issued. The standard industrial classification (SIC) for this procurement is 1623, and the small business size standard is $17 million. This is a negotiated procurement and there will not be a public bid opening. The solicitation will be unrestricted.
