Furnish all plant, labor, equipment, appliances and materials for construction of three (3) Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) bladder tanks in aircraft hangars 1, 9, and 27. This project calls for new proportioners, valves, electrical power, alarm systems, removal of existing proportioners, piping, and pumps. The existing preaction overhead systems three hangars will be converted to water systems only. The existing central AFFF distribution system will be disconnected, drained, and flushed. There is one (1) option line item calling for the replacement of existing ultraviolet/infrared (UV/IR) detectors, and all necessary support. The estimated magnitude for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The performance period for this project is estimated at 180 days from the notice to proceed. This shall be a negotiated procurement. There will not be a public bid opening. The Standard Industrial Classification is 1711, and the small business size standard is $7 million.
