The Corps of Engineers has a need for a contract for Dredging various stretches of the Monongahela River in Washington County and Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, between River Mile 23 and River Mile 42. The work includes the dredging of approximately 195,000 cubic yards of material from the river, disposal of portions of the dredged material at a permitted landfill and in-river placement of the remainder of the dredged material. The period of performance will be 150 calendar days. Magnitude of the project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The plans and specifications will be placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a printed paper hard copy format. The CD's will be available approximately 03/20/00. This procurement is unrestricted.
