TACOM proposes to award a series of contract modifications to Bradley production contract DAAE07-96-C-X036 under which the Government previously acquired quantities of Bradley A2 ODS vehicles for the National Guard. Eighty (80) vehicles were acquired in FY98 and fifty-three (53)in FY99. The Government plans to modify the requirements for the FY98 vehicles by furnishing eighty (80) each 25mm guns for the eighty (80)vehicles as Government Furnished Property (GFP)prior to shipment to National Guard Units. The contractor will be responsible for overpacking the guns on the eighty FY98 vehicles before shipment from contractor's facility in York, PA. With regard to the FY99 A2 vehicles, the Government proposes to have the contractor remove fifty-three (53) 25mm guns mounted on older vehicles stored in York, PA, awaiting remanufacture by UDLP; remanufacture the 25mm guns to current configuration; and overpack the guns on fifty-three remanufactured Bradley A2 vehicles prior to shipment to the National Guard. Itis planned to award the two separate efforts under firm fixed price actions to the current vehicle production contract DAAE07-96-C-X036. UDLP will be required to submit separate proposals for; (1) overpacking eighty (80) each Government Furnished 25mm Guns on vehicles prior to shipment, (2) removing, remanufacturing, and overpacking fifty-three (53) each 25mm guns on National Guard vehicles before shipment.
