The items (per kit quantities) being purchased are : 6 each replacement filter, P/N 01780026; 230 each 3 mm replacement needles, flat, P/N 01780020; 230 each 3 mm replacement needles, chisel pointed, P/N 01780021; 50 each 4.5" super coarse disc, P/N 01780133; 20 each 4.5" 24 grit coated abrasive disc, P/N 01780141; 50 each 4.5" 36 grit coated abrasive disc, P/N 01780142; 30 each 4.5" 60 grit coated abrasive disc, P/N 01780143; 1 each conversion kit to use abrasive discs, P/N 01780145; 1 each 5 Ft. ultra lite long handle needle descaler (includes dust collector shroud), P/N 01780550; 1 each 6'6" plastic hose with curved steel wand, P/N 12097500. Each pneumatic backpack vacuum with consumable items has to be packaged in one unitized kit in order to facilitate warehouse tracking and storage, and ultimate distribution to various ships. Nilfisk of America is the only known source able to supply the complete kits. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government.
