R -- F-14 WEAPONS SYSTEMS SUPPORT ACTIVITY ENGINEERING SERVICES SOL N68936-00-R-0053 DUE 050500 POC Bruce H Price, Contract Specialist, (805) 989-1301 The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division intends to contract on a Cost Plus Fixed Fee basis for technical engineering support services for the F-14 Weapons Systems Support Activity (WSSA). This procurement will be the follow-on to contract N68936-95-D-0155 awarded to Veridian on 29 September 1995. The estimated level of effort is approximately 28,571 per year (total of 142,857) man-hours over a five year (no options) period of performance from date of award (on or about 1 October 2000). The scope of work for this follow-on procurement will include F-14 software flight test support, instrumentation support; F-14 weapons integration test station laboratory support; F-14A/B/D operational flight program software engineering support; and signal analysis laboratory support. It is anticipated the issue date for RFP N68936-00-R-0053 will be on or about 3 April 2000 with a closing date 30 days after date of issue.
