This is a Market Survey/Sources Sought Announcement. The Billings Area Indian Health Service is seeking to identify potential commercial sources capable of providing Data Entry Services to process a wide variety of Patient Care Component (PCC) Ambulatory Encounter forms, third party reimbursement superbills and other forms involving extensive International Classification of Disease (ICD) coding and Common Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding of diagnoses/procedures, using Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS) data entry software. The services include data entry of component parts of outpatient and other medical forms using data entry mnemonics to facilitate entry of data items including, but not inclusive of: diagnoses, procedures, evaluation/management for levels of service, treatments, physical exams, measurements, medications, laboratory tests ordered/results, immunizations, skin test readings, patient education, problem list updates, historical data items, health factors, consultations, and providers of services. Data entry of diagnoses and/or procedures involving interaction with the PCC computer assisted coding system by selecting the most accurate and descriptive ICD classification codes and CPT codes. Verify and correct, as necessary, the ICD and CPT classification codes when they are entered on the forms at the facilities. Retrieve information from the RPMS computer to assist in classifying diagnoses, procedures, identifying patients and verifying accuracy of information and coding. All forms are expected to be data entered within one week (5 working days) from date of receipt. Potential sources are invited to submit, in writing, a capabilities statement and a minimum of three (3) references. There is no solicitation available at this time. Acknowledgement of receipt will not be issued, nor will respondents be notified of the results of the evaluation of the data received.
