S -- ARMED GUARD SERVICES FOR USMC JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA SOL M67004-00-R-0010 DUE 042800 POC Cynthia A.Gubitti, Contract Specialist, (904)696-5360 The United States Marine Corps, Blount Island Command, intends to acquire Armed Guard Services in support of Maritime Prepositioned Ships located in Jacksonville, Florida. The contractor will ensure security is maintained during ammunition/weapons off load and backload. These events are scheduled to occur on weekends from 1800 hours on Friday to 2400 hours on Saturday (according to delays encountered there may be some variances within the schedule of minus 10 hours to plus 15 hours) and some additional time will be required during back load and weapons inventory . The contractor shall be required to provide all management, supervision, labor equipment and supplies necessary to provide armed guard services including six patrol vehicles, firearms, ammunitions, uniforms, etc. The base period of performance shall be from 1 October 2000 through 30 September 2001 and shall include four one year options.
