Valdez, (303) 236-5900 ext 424 The U.S. Geological Survey, EROS Data Center in Sioux Falls, SD has a requirement for new black and white stereo aerial photography to be acquired for specific project sites in El Salvador at a scale of 1:25,000 that is needed for the delineation of landslides and debris flows and for documenting post-Mitch conditions for selected municipalities. The aerial photography requirement shall be acquired to the following specifications: (1) be flown to yield the specified photo scale; (2) provide stereo coverage with 60 percent overlap of consecutive photo frames along flight lines, and 30 percent sidelap between photo frames of adjacent flight lines; (3) tilt and roll shall not exceed four degrees; and (4) the aerial photography shall be obtained in such a manner as to minimize shadows and shall be cloud-free.
