total of six (6) reverse osmosis water filter machines that shall be
installed utilizing the current water system at Naval Air Station,
Fallon, Nevada. The estimated price range for this solicitation is less
than $100,000.00 which includes one base period and one option year.
The Navy will provide an electrical outlet, drain connections and water
source connections in the locations prescribed in the solicitation. The
water filter machines shall be operated by push-button (not
coin-operated). Three of the machines shall be no larger than 24" width
by 78" height by 36" depth with at least two vend ports and three of
the machines shall be no larger than 48" width by 78" height by 36"
depth with at least three vend ports. Machine shall have a water
generation capability of at least one (1) gallon per minute (GPM) at
room temperature with a minimum of two (2) GPM dispensing fill rate.
Machine shall be capable of operating on supply water pressure between
40 and 100 pounds per square inch. 24" width machines shall have a
storage tank of 60 gallons or larger; 48" width machines shall have a
storage tank of 150 gallons or larger. Machines shall operate on
standard 110 volt, 20 amp electrical circuit. Contractor shall provide
all labor, material, equipment, supervision and transportation to
accomplish work in accordance with the work specification documents.
Contractor shall provide all installation, setup and maintenance of
machines. All potable water output shall meet all Primary and Secondary
Drinking Water Regulations required under the Safe Drinking Water Act.
This procurement is full and open for competition and is not set-aside
for small businesses. The SIC Code is 7389. The Government intends to
issue this solicitation through the Internet. Specifications will not
be provided in paper format. Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be
available on the Internet on or about 10 March 2000. The address for
