Y -- PORT HUENEME, EAST AND WEST JETTY REPAIR, VENTURA COUNTY, CA SOL DACW09-00-B-0008 DUE 051800 POC Plan Room, (213) 452-3257 This project consists of repairing the damaged sections of the East and West Jetties at Port Hueneme (approximate number of metric tons of rock for the repair is 40,000). The project is located at the entrance of Port Hueneme, Ventura County, California. It is about 65 miles northwest of the Los Angeles Harbor and 1 mile southeast of Channel Islands Harbor. Both the East and West Jetties have been damaged by past storm events. The East Jetty was damaged more severely than the West Jetty. Approximately 1/3 of the structure on the seaward side requires repair as well as the head section. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1629, Heavy Construction, Except Dredging, N.E.C., $17 M average annual gross revenue for the last (3) three fiscal years. The estimated value of this project is $1,000,000 -- $5,000,000. The project will provide plans and specs using CD-Rom only; hard copies will not be available. The CD-Rom will be available on or about April 19, 2000 at no charge. Because a limited number of CD-Roms will be reproduced, copies are limited to one CD-Rom per firm.
