Notice is hereby provided of the Government's intention to procure for the installation of the upgrade of the exterior lighting at the Peace Bridge, Port of Entry, Buffalo, NY. The successful contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, and supervision. The proposed construction includes selective demolition. This procurement is open to competition among HUBZone concerns only pursuant to the HUBZone Empowerment Contracting Program. The magnitude of this construction project is estimated between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The standard industrial classification (SIC) code is 1731 and the size standard is $7.0 million. Alternate payment protection (payment bond) will be required upon award. The required performance period is 120 days commencing one day after the notice to proceed. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued tentatively on March 15, 2000. All requests for RFQ will only be provided in response to written, facsimile, or electronic mail requests received. All responsible sources may submit a quotation that will be considered by the agency. Contractors are requested to provide a street address as drawings and specifications cannot be delivered to a post office box. No telephonic requests will be honored for this solicitation.
