Krutz, Contracting Officer, 662/686/5361 The U.S. Department of Agriculture, requires the necessary labor, materials, parts, equipment and supervision necessary for the Renovation of Buildings No. 5 and 44 located at the USDA, ARS, Jamie Whitten Delta States Research Center, Stoneville, Mississippi. The work includes but is not limited to; (Building No. 5): provide new acoustical ceilings, provide new interior painted finishes, miscellaneous hardware, miscellaneous roof repairs, minor brick and block work, metal building shed enclosure, replacement of greenhouse evaporative cooling system and temperature/humidity control systems, replacement of branch circuit conductors in greenhouse, minor renovations to lighting and minor renovations and addition of HVAC system, (Building No. 44): provide interior metal liner panels with metal building insulation, provide new interior painted finishes, provide new epoxy resin countertops, provide new metal shelving, general lighting renovations, plumbing fixture replacement and plumbing renovations, HVAC addition, renovation of fume hood. The work is to be completed within 90 days. An IFB will be issued on or about March 15, 2000. Estimated cost of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
