This is not a request for proposal and does not obligate the Government in an award of any contract. This sources sought synopsis contains the most current information available. The Supply Department of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Patuxent River Maryland is seeking sources capable of providing renovation from a high bay warehouse building to three tier storage/warehouse facility. The structure is approximately 25,000 square feet. The site shall have two layers of mezzanine. An elevator shall be constructed to transport heavy equipment to all tiers. The contractor shall be responsible for the design and configuration of the storage bins. The first floor deck shall be utilized for storage items in bulk and large capacity heavy weight items. The second floor shall be converted to warehouse storage bins for piece parts, components, nuts, bolts, and miscellaneous components. The second floor shall be constructed to house office space to accommodate 5 to7 persons. The third floor shall warehouse additional bins for storage for nuts, bolts and screws. The building shall have heating, ventilation, and air-conditioned (HVAC) office areas. All designs must comply with all state and federal manufacturing standards.
