Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for the repair of several corridors located in Building 36. Work shall include repairing walls, painting walls, painting doors and frames, removing and installing carpet, replacing cove base, installing floor tile, replacing ceiling tiles and ceiling grids. Some electrical devices (switches, receptacles, and faceplates) will be replaced. The work shall be performed by a general contractor (SIC Code 1542, size standard $17.0 Million) who has several years experience in renovation of general office areas. All work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NIMA, EPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 120 days. The contractor shall be required to perform a certain amount of work on premium time to eliminate disruption of Government services. The approximate cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used and 100% of this project is set-aside for small business. The work is located at the National Imagery and Mapping Agency facilities at 3200 South Second Street, which is east of Broadway and south of Arsenal Street in the south city of St. Louis.
