NASA/DFRC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the fabrication of a propulsion flight test fixture for the F-15B Aerodynamic Research Testbed (one (1) set of access doors and two (2) sets of internal racks). All interested firms will be subject to a NASA quality inspection at their facility. Mandatory inspection points and verification of material or properties will be established and NASA will perform additional quality assurance inspections to verify the items meet the requirement. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 3728 and 1,000 employees, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurment is DO C-9.
