The Naval Undersea Warfare Center has a requirement for the manufacture, assembly, and painting of ten (10) equipment racks/foundations shipsets for various 688 class submarines. These equipment racks and foundations shall be manufactured in accordance to Manufacturing Instructions and engineering drawings provided as attachments to the solicitation. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13) and Commercial Items (FAR Part 12) apply. Delivery will be FOB Destination, Newport, RI. Delivery shall be staggered with the first shipset of equipment racks/foundation being delivered no later than 15 May 2000 and the final shipset being delivered no later than 26 June 2000. Award will be based on best value award criteria including past performance and price. The solicitation is 100% small business set-aside.
