Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract for Type A (Investigative) Type
B (Design) Type C (Construction Supervision, Inspection)of various
maintenance/repair/minor construction projects at the Kentucky Air
National Guard Base, 1101 Grade Lane, Louisville, Kentucky. Services
will be required for but not limited to the preparation of plans,
specifications and cost estimates for various mechanical, electrical,
paving, structural, rehab of buildings and new construction. Total
amount of work will not exceed $2,000,000 per year (12 month) contract
period. Individual delivery orders shall not exceed $400,000. Delivery
Orders may be issued for one calendar year after contract award and the
contract may, at the Government's option be extended as many as four
additional calendar years. The Government intends to award one firm
fixed price contract to one A-E firm for the services required. A
minimum of $5,000 in fees over the life of the contract will be
guaranteed should nowork be ordered under this contract. Prospective
A-E firms will be evaluated by the following selection criteria listed
in the order of precedence as follows: Professional Qualification
(Architect, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, Environmental
Engineer) Specialized Experience & Technical Competence with (airport
related projects, Air National Guard Facilities, Space Planning i.e.
floor plans, Energy Management, Fire Alarm & Security Systems),
Capacity to Accomplish Work in the Required Time, Past Performance,
Location, and Volume of DOD Work. Standard Form 254, Architect-Engineer
and Related Services Questionaire, and Standard Form 255,
Architect-Engineer Related Services for Specific Project,will be
required from firms requesting consideration for selection. This
acquisition is unrestricted. The Standard Industrial Classification
Code (SIC) is 8712. The size standard is $2.5 million. Interested firms
with more than one office will indicate in whcih office work will be
performed. Firms should ensure that the volume of fees for DOD work
performed in the last 12 months is accurately reflected. Submit SF 254
and SF 255 to the Contracting Officer, USPFO for Kentucky, Room 115,
Building 120, 120 Minuteman Parkway, Frankfort, KY 40601-6192. SF 254
and SF 255 must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. local time, 30 days
from the publication date of this announcement. Should the 30th day
fall on Saturday, Sunday or Federal Holiday, the deadline will be 4:00
p.m. local time on the next Government business day. Firms must be
registered in the Central Contract Registration Program (CCR) at the
time of submission of the 254s and 255s to be considered. To assist
with the checking for CCR Registration, each firm is required to place
their Commercial And Government Entity (CAGE) Code on the outside, top
right corner of their SF 254. Registration can be accomplished via the
