COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF MARCH 3,2000 PSA#2549TACOM/INDUSTRY LOGISTICS DATA SYMPOSIUM The US Army Tank-automotive &
Armaments Command plans to have a TACOM/Industry Logistics Data
Symposium. It will held from 4-6 April 2000 at the Northfield Hilton in
Troy, Michigan. This symposium brings together Government and Industry
personnel to discuss issues and concerns relevant to the constant
changes in the logistics environment. This forum affords the
opportunity for networking and enhancing lines of communication in a
non-adversarial atmosphere. This year's theme "Military Logistics to
2010 and beyond" encompasses all aspects of the future of Military
Logistics. The presentations will focus on the following: Logistics
Modernization, Cooperative/Coalition Logistics, New Strategies,
Technologies, Research & Development, Future Maintenance Technologies,
Future Combat Vehicles, What's Next in Acquisition/Logistics Reform,
and 21st Century Transportation. The symposium will provide insight on
future military concepts & strategies during peacetime and wartime.
Representatives from government and industry will describe the
logistical and technical support required to meet the Department of
Defense mission. The symposium will offer formal presentations, joint
workshops, exhibits, demonstrations and open discussions. REGISTRATION:
The symposium fee is $275.00 Payment must be made upon registration.
