The project will consist of the purchase and installation of 2,000 feet of split rail Western Red Cedar fencing in various locations on the grounds of the new transit center in Zion National Park. The cedar fencing to be installed will consist of Western Red Cedar without bark, with 6'x6" roughly square posts, and 11' x 4" roughly square rails. Two posts per hole and two rails per section of fencing. Post height above the grade shall not exceed 42" with 8 to 10 foot spacing between section. The fence will be fastened together with zinc coated 1/2" all thread bolts. The native materials around the posts will be compacted to secure the post in place.
