The Government intends to purchase on a Sole Source Basis the following item manufactured by Visicom, Inc.: Visicom 4001 NTDS type E (Nato Low Level Serial) Cards, Visicom part # 530-2005-001, quantity of Eleven (11) each. This item is the interface module for the Gridlock System Computer, MK 162 Mod 0. The Interface Module is an integral part of the computer. This hardware is used to execute the Shipboard Gridlock system with Automatic Correlation (SGS/AC) tactical program. The Shipboard Gridlock System software is installed on all AEGIS platforms and most CV/CVN and LHA/LHD platforms. The SGS/AC software consists of over 100,000 lines of code targeted for the specified Interface Module. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures on all or none basis. All responsible sources may submit their quote, which shall be considered by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Va. 22448. The contractor shall provide in writing information stating they are a valid authorized distributor of Visicom, Inc. The contractor shall provide Cage Code, Dun and Bradstreet number, Tax Identification Number and the published price list with their Fax Quote to Fax Number 540-653-7016, Code SD18. The government shall not issue a written quote as all items are called out in this CBD notice. The contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Data Base.
