TEST, EXAMINE, TREAT, BRUSH, AND VIDEO TAPE WELL #27 AT THE NAVAL AIR WEAPONS STATION, CHINA LAKE, CA The contractor will be required to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision required to perform all requirements for the Base Bid and if exercised all requirements for Option 1 and/or Option 2. The Base Bid shall include test and examine all well pump components for defects and check the shaft for alignment, provide a written report on the findings with recommendations, and video the well pump after the pump is pulled and provide a VHS tape copy to the Government. The Government will examine the video and reports and make a determination if additional work listed in the options shall be required. Other requirements include install existing pump, disinfect the well, testing for the well water for bacteria, examine and test the motor and pump after reinstalling. Option 1 shall include chemical treat and clean, brush the well to remove the scale, rust, and calcium build up on the well casing and screen. In addition, re-video the well and provide a VHS copy to the Government. Option 2 shall include provide new pump, discharge head, shaft enclosing tubes and shafts, and modify existing motor to fit new discharge head. Performance time is 120 calendar days from receipt of notice of contract award. This procurement is set-aside for small business only. The SIC Code is 1781. The related small business standard is $7.0 Million. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract. The estimated cost range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
