Request for Proposals (RFP) # 1-JC-99-04, for the continued operation of the Penobscot Job Corps Center located in Bangor, Maine, will be available, free of charge, on the World Wide Web http://www.wdsc.org/jobcorps/schedule.html on or about Thursday, March 30, 2000. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will cover the period October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2002, plus three government unilateral renewal options of one year . The approximate average capacity strenght is 346 students (149 residential males; 147 residential females; 17 non-rresidential males; and 33 non-residential females). A Pre- Proposal Conference will take place Tuesday, April 11, 2000 at 1:00 pm, local time, (EST) in the Multi-Purpose room in the Recreation Bldg at the Penobscot Job Corps Center, 1375 Union Street, Bangor, Maine 04401 (Tel. No. 207-990-3000). There will be a tour of the facility at 09:30 am, local time, (EST) on Tuesday, April 11, 2000. Upon entering the facility, tour participants must report to and register in the Multi-Purpose room in the Recreation Bldg. Interested offeror should limit their attendance to no more than three (3) people. We recommend that interested parties download the RFP from our Job Corps Acquisition Web Page prior to attending the Pre-Proposal Conference.
