910-432-2146 The US Army Special Operations Command has a requirement
to install audio visual equipment. This is a combined
synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is 100% Small
Business Set Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification is 8999 with
a size standard of $5.0 million. Award will be made on the basis of the
low responsive, responsible quotation providing documentation to
support types and quantities of equipment and services required.
SPECIFICATIONS: The contractor shall provide for the Installation of 23
Projectors Model# VPL-S900U and PSS-600 permanently mounted in 23
Language classrooms in the Special Operations Academic Facility,
Building D-3915, Fort Bragg, North Carolina 28310. Installation
includes centering, leveling, and securing ceiling mount/projector;
modification fo mount as required by site; mount extension; conduit and
mounting of conduit; VGA and Coax cables; VGA amplifier; mounting box
for amplifier; running cables from projector for computer sources;
cable extensions needed to connect to computer/sources. Contractors
shall conduct a site survey prior to submission of Quotes. Contractor
shall schedule a site survey with Ms.Donna Stees, USASOC DCSIM, at
910-432-5354. Survey shall be conducted on 14 March 2000, with 16 March
2000 as the alternate date. No other surveys shall be conducted
thereafter. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to

furnished upon receipt of a written request. Award will be made on the
basis of low responsive, responsible quotation providing documentation
to support types and quantities of equiment and services required.
Offerors, who can provide for the required services, may submit, in
writing, to include pricing (FOB Destination). This is a firm fixed
price contract. Proposals are to bedelivered to US Army Special
Operations Command, ATTN: AOCO, Building E-2929, Desert Storm Drive,
Fort Bragg, NC 28310-5200 not later than 1400 hours 24 March 2000. All
responses from responsible sources submitting the required information
will be fully considered. No additional synopsis will be published.
Failure to provide adequate information to reflect compliance with the
specifications of the required items here in will result in
disqualification. Request for a solicitation will be considered not
