The VA Medical Center, Coatesville, PA is requesting proposals for a Sharing Agreement from qualified providers to manage a Community Residential Care Program, for veterans on the grounds of the Medical Center. The VA will provide one floor of Bldg. # 4 equipped with a functioning kitchen and dining area, and with the capacity of 53 beds. The provider will be responsible to provide all resources necessary to manage and operate the Program, and to obtain the required license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to operate a Personal Care Home (CRC). Requests for the solicitation package must be submitted to the Contracting Officer in writing, no telephone requests will be accepted, and must reference the solicitation number. This solicitation action is unrestricted and available for Full and Open Competition, but requests from small businesses and small veteran owned businesses is highly encouraged. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 15, 2000. The closing date for this Request for Proposals is April 14, 2000, C.O.B., and in accordance with FAR regulations any proposals received after that date will be retained and unopened.
