Science Foundation has a need for publication requirements -- SIC code
2721 (size standard 500 employees) for its Division of Science
Resources Studies (SRS). This procurement is a 100% small business
set-aside (see Note 1). The Government reserves the right to make
multiple awards for these services. Each award will be issued in
accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Each
award will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract with
task orders to be issued on a firm fixed price basis. The period of
performance for each contract will be a two-year base period with three
one-year option periods. The scope of work includes two primary areas:
Statistical editing (substantive, copy editing, proofreading); Desktop
publishing (composition, graphic and table creation, formatting of
statistical tables according to pre-established format specifications,
providing finished documents in PageMaker 6.5 for Windows).
Contractors may submit proposals in one or bothprimary areas. The
Contractor must possess, and be able to demonstrate, all skills within
each primary area. Examples of publications produced by SRS can be

amendments and questions and answers will be published within ten days
