This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written informal quotation will be issued. This is a request for offers RFP N00102-00-R-2074. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect in Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. The associated standard industrial classification code is 7011. The small business size standard is $5,000,000.00. Four(4)lots of rooms are required to be located in the Groton/New London, CT area for the following estimated dates: 05/22/00 through 08/17/00. Properties must be located within 20 miles or less traveling the main routes to the subbase in New London, CT. An estimated 4,000 room days will be required. Only ACTUAL rooms utilized by PNS personnel will be paid for. A minimum of 48 hours notices will be given to the contractor of rooms not being utilized by PNS personnel and sold back. All rooms must be a minimum of 225 square feet and include a microwave and refrigerator no less than 3.5 cu ft total.
