ext. 265, FAX 304/606-1875 The Monongahela National Forest anticipates
contracting for the construction of the Smoke Hole Area Vault Toilets
and Picnic Shelter on the Cheat/Potomac Ranger District in Grant and
Pendleton Counties, West Virginia. The project consists of the
construction and installation of 8 vault toilet buildings in 4
different locations; removal of 3 existing vault toilet buildings with
abandonment of the vaults in place; and construction of a
pre-fabricated steel column picnic shelter on a concrete slab with
cast-in-place foundation walls. The foundation walls will be faced with
native river rock available on the site. The work is to be completed
within 120 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The contract estimate
is between $100,000 and $250,000. The work will be awarded under the
Small Business Demonstration Project. All interested parties should
