FAX 304/636-1875 The Monongahela National Forest anticipates
contracting for the Summit Lake Fishing Pier and Vault Toilets on the
Gauley Ranger District in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. The work
consists of the demolition of existing wooden dock and walkway and
construction of a 455 square foot wooden dock, a 2967 square foot
wooden fishing pier, and two sealed vault toilets. The work will
include excavation and backfill, concrete foundation piers, a timber
retaining wall, a french drain, and a compacted gravel parking area. It
is anticipated work will commence approximately April 1 and the
contract time is 151 calendar days. The contract estimate is between
$100,000 and $250,000. A pre-bid meeting will be held with details
listed in the Invitation for Bids. This project will be awarded under
the Small Business Demonstration Project. All interested parties should
