COAST GUARD STATION PANAMA CITY, FLORIDA SOL DTCG82-00-B-3WCA14 POC Judy Stamper, 305-278-6724 PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The work consists of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and materials necessary in the station shop building, replace two (2) above the ceiling heat pump split systems with one heat pump split system located in a mechanical room. The existing boiler in the mechanical room will be removed. The suspended ceilings and lighting shall also be replaced. In the mult-purpose building, five (5) split system heat will be replaced with two of those five being relocated. Another split system heat pump will be abandoned in place and replaced by three through the wall heat pumps. The lighting in this building is to be replaced with more efficient lighting. In addition to the above work the hurricane shutters will be replaced with accordion type for the second floor and bolt/screw type for the first floor. This work is located at U. S. Coast Guard Station Panama City, Florida. The estimated price range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The package for this project is expected to be ready for solicitation by 5/15/00. The estimated bid opening is 8/15/00. Execution time for this project is estimated to be between one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days and one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days. There will be a $20.00 charge for the specifications and drawings. The check is to be made payable to the U. S. Coast Guard. Plans will be available for inspection without charge at 15608 SW 117th Avenue, Miami, Florida, after they have been issued. Bid guarantee, payment and performance bonds are required.
