Valdez, (303) 236-5900 ext 424 The U.S. Geological Survey, Water Resources Division has a requirement to remove and demolish 12 each steel "A" frames (i.e. pin-connected towers) with landing platforms located at eight (8) sites around the State of Texas. Towers can be on one or two sides of waterways. Removal includes all cable and backstays, cable cars, eye bars, sockets, ladders, pins, saddles, etc. Removal also includes any chain link fencing and fence posts that surround the towers bases at four sites. All posts, bolts, pins, etc. in concrete blocks, pedestals or piers shall be cut off flush with the concrete block, pedestal or pier that they are anchored into. A site visit shall be scheduled after issuance of solicitation.
