Air Force Air Armament Center, Precision Strike Systems Program Office
intends to procure an AGM-142 Weapon System Extended Warranty and test
equipment to test the missile's Flight Termination System (FTS). The
warranty extension period will begin on the effective date of contract
modification and extend through 30 Sep 2006. The warranty will provide
for repair and restoration to specification any malfunctioning AGM-142
Weapon System equipment as follows: two (2) Test Sets (Missile Test
Set and Data Link Pod Test Set), one-hundred-forty-four (144) AGM-142
missiles (Lots 6, 7, 8, and 9), eight (8) Captive Air Training Missiles
(CATMs) plus spares, twelve (12) Data Link Pods (DLPs) plus spares, and
thirty-five (35) TV Seekers. Refurbishment of three (3) CATMs and three
(3) Data Link Pods is also required during the period in order for the
warranty to remain valid. The FTS Test Equipment is required to
perform a complete test and checkout of the Flight Termination System
(FTS) and Telemetry MonitoringSystem (TMS) installed in the AGM-142
test missile in preparation for conducting either a captive carry
flight test or a flight test launch of the missile on the B-52
aircraft. The test equipment consists of transportable
compartmentalized electronic equipment for use by USAF personnel either
in the missile shop or on the flight line. Two (2) weeks of on-site
training at the main operating base for USAF technicians will be
procured as well as the required technical manuals and data. It is
anticipated that delivery of the test equipment will be complete
eighteen (18) months after contract modification. All responsible
sources may submit a statement of capability, which will be considered.
This is not a request for proposal and is not to be construed as a
commitment by the Government. Firms responding to this notice should
indicate whether they are a small business or small disadvantaged
business as defined in FAR Part 19. All concerns and routine

Collect calls will not be accepted. An Ombudsman has been appointed to
address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the
proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not
diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer,
but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and
recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When
requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to
the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the
evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested
