The plot combine must be capable of threshing different crops with a wide varity of seed sizes (ranging from alfalfa & canola to corn & dry beans) and types, i.e. small grains, oilseeds, legumes, etc. It must have grain storage tank with quick emptying capability and features to insure good cleanout of machine in between plots to prevent mixing of seeds.
