The applicable small business size standard for interested small business concerns including their affiliates is not more than 500 employees. The standard industrial classification code is 3446. Project solicitation and specifications, and drawings will be made available on 03 Mar 00. This solicitation will be acquired under Small Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00, with a performance period of 30 working days. The work includes but is not limited to furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to provide and install fixed industrial stairs with handrails, catwalk with handrails and landings, and guardrails to prevent maintenance personnel from falling from the above ground fuel tanks surface. Design, fabrication, and installation shall be in accordance with Air Force Occupational Safety and Health Standard (AFOSH) 91- 22, OccupationalSafety and Health Administration (OSHA) (Standard -- 29 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR), American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standard A12.1-1973, and The "Metal Stairs Manual" (National Association of Architectural Metal Manufactures).
