This procurement is for the purchase and installation of Eight (8) additional modules of the 55708 Rapid Trace Workstation that will be added to the existing Modules. The Rapid Trace is a modular system that allows: additional modules to be added based on demand; continuous startup, loading and initiating run at different times in the different modules; and should a problem occur in one module the others will continue to run. The Rapid Trace Workstation system has the following features: (1) Closed platform to prevent contamination of samples, (2) Positive pressure by syringe displacement, (3) Sample racks may be magnetically encoded with specific procedures for one touch operation, (4) Liquid level sensors, (5) Windows software, (6) Eight reagent lines, (7) Segregated waste lines and (8) Mixing vessel.
