The Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office, Midwest Region, proposes to acquire approximately 10,000 baseball caps for use as recruiting and retention premiums for the USMCR. The caps shall be 6 panel, low profile, adjustable fit with a cloth back strap and shall be furnished in three colors: blue with white embroidery, black with red embroidery and khaki with black embroidery. "US Marines" will be embroidered in a single color on the front of the cap. All items will be shipped FOB destination to a single shipping point. Five bid samples in each color will be required for evaluation and testing. This acquisition will be conducted under simplified acquisition procedures and the award will be based on the suitability of bid samples, price and price related factors. This will be an indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery type contract with a minimum value of $25,000 and a maximum value of $200,000. The SIC is 2353 and the size standard is 500 employees. The RFQ issue date will be on or about 22 Mar 00 with a closing date on or about 25 Apr 00.
