The U.S. Army Materiel Command, Natick Contracting Division, has a requirement for a minimum quantity of: 8 each: Kitchen, Field, Trailer, Mounted, NSN: 7360-01-174-8121. The Government anticipates that this acquisition will result in a four year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a total maximum quantity of 50 Kitchen, Field, Trailer, Mounted. This acquisition will be solicited and awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis. The general characteristics and item description are contained in Technical Data Packages 5-13-2500 (MKT-I). It is anticipated that the first delivery order for quantity of 8 each: Kitchen, Field, Trailer, Mounted will be issued at the time of basic ID/IQ contract award following evaluation of proposals. Delivery of 1 each: Kitchen, Field, Trailer, Mounted shall be F.O.B. Destination to the following destinations: Kelly Air Force Base, TX; Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base, OH; Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, NC; Barksdale Air Force Base, LA; Travis Air Force Base, CA; and 2 each F.O.B. Destination to: McChord Air Force Base, WA. Delivery of 1 each: Kitchen, Field, Trailer, Mounted shall be F.O.B. Origin. For pricing purposes, it is anticipated the remaining quantity of 42 each: Kitchen, Field, Trailer, Mounted will be shipped FOB Destination to: New Cumberland, PA, 14 each; Stockton, CA, 14 each; and Texarkana, TX, 14 each. A First Article Test unit is required to be delivered within 95 days after issuance of Delivery Order number 1. Production quantities of this item are required to be delivered within 120 days after approval of the First Article Unit on Delivery Order No. 1, and 120 days after issuance of any subsequent delivery orders. Alternate Delivery Schedules will be considered. The successful offeror will also be responsible for producing and delivering a First Article Test Report, Operator's, Unit, and Direct Support Manuals, Unit and Direct Support Repair Parts List, Proposed Spare Parts List, Maintenance Allocations Chart, Initial Engineering Data for Provisioning, and Initial Provisioning Technical Documents. This acquisition is set aside 100% for Small Business. A best value source selection will be based on the offeror's proposed price and past performance in that order of importance. Pricing shall be filled in on the Request For Proposal (RFP) DAAD15-99-R-0014, (CLIN 0001AA), (CLIN 0001AB), (CLIN 0002AA), (CLIN 0003AA), and (CLIN 0004AA). Offerors shall also submit a one-page past performance sheet listing at least three recent (past two years) references for the same or a similar item. The past performance sheet must contain a point of contact for each, current telephone and fax numbers, order/contract number. The Standard Industrial Classification is 3499 and the size standard is 500 employees.
