FISC Norfolk -- Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire contracto= r engineering technical services on behalf of the Naval Air Technical and D= ata Engineering Service Command. These services are to provide various fleet= and shore activities with an estimated 222 man months of effort for the purpo= se of informing, instructing, and training Navy personnel in the installation, operation, and maintenance of Naval Electronic Warfare Test Station (NEWT= S) and associated Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and Electronic Warfare (EW) equipment. It is intended to negotiate this requirement on a sole source= basis pursuant to 10 USC Code 2304(1) with the OEM Sanders, A Lockheed Martin C= ompany of Nashua, NH. The estimated effort is for a base period of 1 October 20= 00 through 30 September 2001, plus two one-year option periods. This effort = is divided among seven tasks located at MCAS Cherry Pt., MCAS Iwakuni, Japan=, MCAS Miramar CA, NAS Lemoore CA, NAS Oceana, Dallas Ft.
