Systems Command intends to conduct a full-and-open competition for
Cable Sea Engineering Services. The work requires experience and
technical proficiency in: (1) Deploying long haul under sea cable
systems; (2) Repairing faulted cable; (3) Retrieving cable systems; (4)
Installing underwater arrays and sensor fields; (5) Planning and
conducting acoustic, bathymetric, cable route and field surveys; (6)
Perform depot level maintenance of shipboard mission systems; and (7)
Develop undersea system deployment plans based upon results of the
conducted surveys. All personnel providing engineering services must
have or be able to obtain a secret clearance. The offeror must have the
infrastructure and work force to support operations worldwide and to
conduct multiple simultaneous operations. All sea going personnel must
be certified medically fit for sea duty. The offeror must have or be
able to obtain a facility clearance, and possess classified storage
space for approximately 10,000classified documents, with
classifications up to the Secret level. Additional information
