NUWC Division Newport has a competitive commercial procurement for a series of document reviews, site visits and audits of NUWC to determine conformance to Environmental Management Systems (EMS) ISO 14001 procedures and standards for accrediting NUWC with the National Accreditation Program, a joint program of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB). This procurement will result in a one-year Base contract with four one-year Options. Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of "Best Value" to the Government. Interested firms must be an Accredited ANSI-RAB ISO 14001 Registrar with an Accredited ANSI-RAB ISO 14001 Lead Auditor. Firms must have expertise in environmental and engineering services and have past experience working with U.S. military and U.S. governmental installations.
