ACQUISITION OF FOCUSED RESEARCH The Virginia Contracting Activity (VACA) is seeking proposals in connection with the Defense Intelligence Agency's Academic Outreach Program. VACA intends to issue a series of solicitations that will be set-aside for the exclusive participation of Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Institutions. The Agency is seeking support from the academic community in acquiring and processing focused research, baseline information, and/or completed analysis pertaining to certain lower priority countries worldwide. Research areas include the following: Health, Medical, Environment, Government, Economy, International Relations, Domestic Issues, Internal Security, Military Forces, Infrastructure, Weapons Proliferation, Terrorism/Counter-terrorism, Counter-narcotics, Information Operations/Information Warfare, Weapons of Mass Destruction and Science and Technology.
