Dellinger, Contracting Officer, (808) 473-7566, (POC) Mr. Ed Charette, Contract Specialist, (808) 473-7505 The Government intends to solicit and negotiate a contract with Niihau Ranch in accordance with Public Law 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), which allows acquisition from a specified source. The purpose of the contract will be to provide Facility Maintenance Support (FMS) services for a segment of the Pacific Missile Range Facility on the island of Niihau. The services include: pest control, grounds maintenance; road repair and maintenance to include sweeping and edging away vegetation; facility maintenance; fuel oil maintenance services for government equipment; helicopter support services; and maintenance of government emergency housing. The estimated start date is October 1, 2000. The type of contract considered is Fixed Price with Indefinite Quantity provisions which will include a base year plus four (4) pre-priced option periods.
