THIS SOLICITATION IS A COMPETITIVE 8(A) PROCUREMENT RESTRICTED TO DALLAS OR SAN ANTONIO SBA DISTRICT 8(A) PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS. ONLY PARTICIPANTS WITH BONA FIDE PLACES OF BUSINESS WITHIN THE ESTABLISHED GEOGRAPHIC BOUNDARIES OF THE DALLAS OR SAN ANTONIO DISTRICT OFFICES WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO SUBMIT BIDS. Firm-Fixed Price contract that the work will that the work involves installing approximately 5200 feet of 24 inch water main which includes crossing US 190 at Clear Creek and a railroad crossing. Work will also include jacking and boring. A connection will be made to an existing asbestos cement water line. Vaults are included at each end of the extension. The plans and specifications will be placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of amendments shall be made through either 3.5" diskette, CD ROM, and/or the Internet. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of CD ROM and the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
