The Combating Terrorism Technology Support Office (CTTSO) Technical Support Working Group (TSWG), Fort Washington, MD, is soliciting concepts for innovative research and development projects. The mission areas are: Physical Security (PS); Explosives Detection and Defeat (ED&D); Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Countermeasures (CBRNC); and Infrastructure Protection (IP). The Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) package itself will be available only from the following website: www.tswg.net. The BAA process constitutes a solicitation of concepts from those offerors capable of satisfying the Government's needs. The Government encourages non-profit organizations, educational institutions, small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, government laboratories, HBCU/MI's, foreign contractors, as well as large businesses, to submit research concepts for consideration. The BAA selection process will be conducted in three phases for PS, ED&D and CBRNC fully described in the BAA package available from the web site. A two-phase approach will be used for IP. The package describes the full process for the concept submission and evaluation as well as specific requirements for the mission areas.
