Provide Wireless Telephone Service for approximately 1,000 users in the various activities withing SPAWAR Systems Center, San Diego, CA. Most of the telephone numbers are based in the greater San Diego CA area. This service is to include long distance calling as part of the rate plans; roaming service outside of local calling areas to encompass United States and U.S. Territories.; provide or arrange for wireless telephone serivce for telephone numbers based in local calling areas other than San Diego area; contractor to provide a transition plan from current service network to new network; provide Internet access as an option; provide a wireless phone for each user to meet minimum telephone specifications listed in the RFQ; provide voice mail, paging, text messaging, and caller ID as part of all rate plans; proposal shall include procedures for activation, de-activation, suspension, rate plan changes, and user changes; provide service coverage for global roaming as an option; and, provide credit for turn in of cellular phones currently used. Contractor to provide a minimum of three fixed rate plans and minimum of one variable rate plan.
