resultant contract will cover the period December 1, 2000 through
November 30, 2002, plus 3 governmental unilateral renewal one year
options. The Request For Proposal (RFP) will be available on the World
Wide Web site, http://www/wdsc.org/jobcorps/schedule.html on or about
March 23, 2000. The approximate average capacity strength is 515
students of which 325 are residential females, 35 are non-residential
males, and 155 are non-residential females, plus 52 pre-school children
as part of the non-residential component. Contractor will provide
direct outreach/screening/placement services for a total of 350
students (of which 30 are male non-resident). Pre-proposal conference
and walk-through tour of the Job Corps Center will be on April 12,
2000, at 9:00 a.m. local time at Atlanta Job Corps Center, 239 West
Lake Av. NW Atlanta, Georgia. PLEASE WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHING! The
contractor shall provide Academic and Vocational Training, operate a
Counseling and Residential Living Program, and operate the following
support services: Health Services, processing of Student Records,
Discipline System, Clothing Issue, mail Services and Legal Services.
The contractor will also provide overall Center Management and
Administration as follows: Contract and Personnel Administration, Staff
Training, Financial Management, Procurement and Property Management,
Facility Operations and Maintenance, Security and Safety Services,
Community Relations and Public Information. We recommend that you
download the RFP from our Office of Job Corps Acquisition web page
prior to attending the pre-proposal conference. All questions prior to
the Pre-proposal Conference should be submitted in writing. Proposals
in response to this RFP will be due no later than 2:00 p.m. local time
on May 24, 2000 at the address listed above. All responsible sources
