The Request For Proposal (RFP) will be available on the World Wide Web site, http://www/wdsc.org/jobcorps/schedule.html on or about March 23, 2000. The approximate average capacity strength is 515 students of which 325 are residential females, 35 are non-residential males, and 155 are non-residential females, plus 52 pre-school children as part of the non-residential component. Contractor will provide direct outreach/screening/placement services for a total of 350 students (of which 30 are male non-resident). Pre-proposal conference and walk-through tour of the Job Corps Center will be on April 12, 2000, at 9:00 a.m. local time at Atlanta Job Corps Center, 239 West Lake Av. NW Atlanta, Georgia. PLEASE WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHING! The contractor shall provide Academic and Vocational Training, operate a Counseling and Residential Living Program, and operate the following support services: Health Services, processing of Student Records, Discipline System, Clothing Issue, mail Services and Legal Services. The contractor will also provide overall Center Management and Administration as follows: Contract and Personnel Administration, Staff Training, Financial Management, Procurement and Property Management, Facility Operations and Maintenance, Security and Safety Services, Community Relations and Public Information.
