RIOS (210) 295-4365 (SITE CODE: DADA10_ DESCRIPTION: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Requirement for the services of approximately 77 specialized pediatric early intervention health care professionals to staff an Early Intervention Program in Europe, Korea and Guam. The requirement is for 26 Early Childhood Special Educators, 6 Early Intervention Nurses, 12 Pediatric Occupational Therapists, 5 Pediatric Physical Therapist, 4 Family Service Coordinators, a Developmental Pediatrician, a Clinical Child Psychologist; 2 Assistant Family Service Coordinators, 18 Speech Language Pathologist, a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, and the establishment and staffing of an Administrative and Technical Support Office in Landstuhl, Germany. These services will be provided at various locations within the European Theater of Operations, Korea and Guam. This requirement is subject to the utilization of Troop Care (TC) and/or Technical Expert (TE) providers to be employed by the contractor. The Department of Defense must obtain approval by the Host Nation and/or other applicable authorities for accreditation of providers to fill each contract position. The requirement is for a base year and four 1 year options. An indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with a single award is anticipated. Delivery shall be made as authorized on delivery orders to the contract. Solicitation will be issued on or about 22 March 2000. Solicitation requests must be in writing on company letterhead and must include name, address, telephone number, business size, and the solicitation number. Solicitation copies will be provided on a diskette at a fee of $25.00 each made payable to the Department of Treasury, which must be submitted with your request for the solicitation.
